The offer from Fondation Grand Paradis for the Christmas holidays is enriched with two afternoons of entertainment for children at the Gran Paradiso National Park visitor centres in Cogne and Rhêmes-Notre-Dame. The first appointment is on Monday 29 December at 4 p.m. in Cogne, in the Park's visitor centre at the Miners' Village: the children will be the protagonists in the construction of a miniature 'Miners' Village'; the activity will carry an important message on the environment, since only recycled materials will be used. The workshop is aimed at children aged 4 to 13. The second afternoon of animation will take place on Sunday 4 January 2009 at the Rhêmes-Notre-Dame Park visitor centre (4 pm) with the construction of a special goose game, centred on the animals of the Gran Paradiso National Park. For both activities, animated by the operators of the Solal cooperative, reservations must be made by 6 p.m. the day before at Fondation Grand Paradis (0165-749264). During the Christmas period (25 December - 6 January), the three Gran Paradiso National Park visitor centres of Cogne, Rhêmes-Notre-Dame and Valsavarenche will be open to the public (in the three centres, same opening hours, every day from 2 to 6 p.m.), the Alpinart exhibition centre with the 'Abiti' exhibition (every day, 2 to 6 p.m.) and the Maison de Cogne Gérard-Dayné (every day from 3 to 7 p.m., reservation required).
