On 24 May the Trentapassi Skyrace® will be run. The countdown has begun for the opening race of the "La Sportiva Mountain Running Cup 2015" circuit. Registration open until 19 May, reached 600 participants only 50 bibs available
.Sunday 24 May will see the official opening of the "La Sportiva Mountain Running Cup" circuit in Marone, on the shores of Lake Iseo, with the fifth edition of the Trentapassi Skyrace® and the third edition of the Vertical Race. The Vertical Race will be valid as the first trial of the Skyrunner Italy Series.
From a technical point of view the Trentapassi Skyrace® is 17.5 km long, 1400 metres of positive height difference (1000 of which concentrated on 3 km of development), and 1400 metres of negative height difference.
The Trentapassi Vertical Race® on the other hand is 3.5 Km on the 1000 metres of positive height difference; in just a few minutes from the lakeshore you reach the 1200 metres of altitude of the summit, running along the overhanging and breathtaking ridge of the Trentapassi.
As in the past edition, there will be three races on the programme, the Skyrace®, the Vertical Race® and the MiniSkyrace for the youngsters, which will be held on Saturday. The programme will start on Saturday afternoon at 16.30 with the boys' race. On Sunday morning the competition will get into full swing with the start at 9.15 a.m. of the Vertical Race, and about an hour later the fifth edition of the Trentapassi Skyrace® will get underway from the shores of the lake.
Registrations for the Trentapassi will be open until Tuesday 19 May, registration forms can be found on the website http://www.trentapassiskyrace.it/. Those who wish to finalise their registration must do so in the next few hours because there are only 50 race-bibs available.
As regards the organisational aspects dedicated to the athletes, during the event, in collaboration with "Campus", the Organising Committee is once again proposing a "babysitting" service for children from the age of 2 years with professional kindergarten teachers. The service is free of charge, but booking is compulsory at the number 347-1544640.
During the prize-giving there will be a draw for numerous prizes, including two entries for the Dolomites Vertical Crepa Negra in Canazei and two entries for the Skyrace del Monte Bianco.
Also for this Trentapassi the organisation wants to ensure the highest level of safety on the route so that the athletes can express themselves at their best without any worries. As in previous editions, 120 men will be stationed along the entire route to assist the competitors, coordinated by the mountain guide Fabio Meraldi, 12 men from the Alpine Rescue Service, 12 AREU rescuers with a medical backpack and defibrillator, 3 doctors, 60 men from the Marone and Zone Civil Protection, a helicopter and 2 ambulances.

11.30 a.m. - Opening Pasta Party at the multi-purpose hall in the park of Villa Vismara, (included in the registration fee for the athlete and €10 for accompanying persons)
2.00 p.m. - Absolute Prize Giving Ceremony in the park of Villa Vismara
