The first climbers dedicated the summit to Roberto Bignami, Bonatti's companion on several occasions (see above) and who perished on Mount Api, in Nepal. NOTE: on the west face of the same tower there is also a great route, from 1956, by Andrea Oggioni and Josve Aiazzi.
