Lake Canée

Access

Introduction

 Small lake at the foot of Pizzo di Claro, in a basin invisible from below. There are four ways to get there: - From Calanca: Alp Stabveder, ascent to Pizzo di Claro, descent to the lake. - From Claro: direct ascent to the lake. - From Lumino: ascent to the Monti di Saurù (possibly by cable car), then the Alp Trail to the lake. - From Lumino: ascent to Monti di Saurù (possibly with the cable car), then Brogoldone hut, Pas di Mem, and along the ridge line to the lake. - From Biasca: Cava Hut then alpine path (T4) to the lake.
