Introduction

Description

In the heart of the Alps, the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park is the largest protected area in Trentino with a total area of 620.52 square kilometres. The Park, located in western Trentino between the Giudicarie, Non and Sole valleys, covers two vast geomorphologically distinct areas, the Brenta Dolomites Group and the Adamello-Presanella granite massif, characterised by the presence of numerous glaciated areas. The two mountain groups are separated by the furrow of the Val Rendena, traversed by the Sarca river.
