Toesca Refuge
Introduction
The Toesca hut dates back to the 1920s and has been gradually expanded and renovated over time, most recently in 1998.
Description
The ground floor has a dining room with a capacity of 48 covers. On the first floor is the sleeping area with a common room with 24 beds and several small rooms with 2-3 beds each, for a total of 31 beds. Outside the hut, on the south side, there is a small area with wooden tables and benches, made available by the Park where packed lunches can be taken when the hut is closed. On the north side there is a fountain that is always active, except in the winter period, when the hut is normally closed. The refuge does not have a winter room.
