Access

150 metres after the Pont-Saint-Martin motorway junction [A5], turn right and, at the first roundabout, take the second exit. A little further on, at the second roundabout, take the third exit and enter the town of Pont-Saint-Martin. After a few hundred metres, turn right onto the towards the Lys Valley. Continue through the town of Pont-Saint-Martin for a further 500 metres before ignoring the right-hand turn off the regional road. Carry on straight for about a hundred metres, cross the Lys at the Roman Bridge and leave your car in the car park 🅿️ in Piazza IV Novembre, which has a few spaces with a 60-minute time limit and the rest in the blue zone. There are other free car parks nearby.

0h00' From Piazza IV Novembre, head along Via E. Chanoux towards Aosta. Pass through the town of Pont-Saint-Martin until you reach the tree-lined Piazza 1° Maggio. At the end of the square, on the right, you will find a signpost indicating the themed route you are about to follow [QR code].

0h05' Follow the paved mule track, which offers a quick ascent up the promontory on which Baraing Castle was built. After a few minutes, on the right, you will come to the distinctive cemetery, within which the Church of the Most Precious Blood of the Lord and Our Lady of the Rosary was built. The mule track continues to climb and, after passing a painted votive shrine on the wall, you reach the regional road to Perloz.
