Struppa from Borgoratti

You leave your car behind the Carlini Stadium, near Corso Europa, Genoa
.Introduction
Unusual crossing from the city centre to the suburbs, passing through the mountains.
Description
From the area of Corso Europa (Carlini Stadium) we climb up Salita inf. di Santa Tecla and take Via Borgoratti, then turn onto Via di Chiappetto. The bricked road proceeds via della Costa di Chiappetto and from a fork (Madonnina) you turn right onto the more marked track. Once on the ridge, follow it faithfully to Fort Richelieu. The structure (416 m) is reached in 1h15 (+15' per visit). One chooses to skirt the walls along the ridge and then turn back onto a dirt road (to the right). You arrive at the entrance to the quarry, but keep to the left. One goes halfway up the slope on the level to an important crossroads where one keeps to the right uphill on a wide path. Continue uphill (fork to the right) and then go left along the ridge to the entrance of the complex 571 m - 1h30. After the break, go around the building, comfortably, on the north side. Once on the western edge, you descend in a series of hairpin bends to the Fie path (20'). You persevere on the descent for about 120 metres. Suddenly, one abandons the marked trail to curve to the right. After two high-tension power lines, yellow notches are useful, which actually connect the various pylons... further on, a section in the forest is with all the trees felled (path cleared). At a fork in the road, leave the more obvious path to go right and join the tarmac by turning right (1h). In a short time, turn left to Serino and afterwards to Struppa (40'), from where you return to your car by public transport.
